You will notice that Sarah Palin was quite clear on her position of the Gay Marriage Issue… and so was Biden. Obama, Biden, McCain and Palin personally feel that marriage would be defined as strictly between a man and a woman. However, all of the candidates feel that the issue should be left up to the states and that the Constitution should not be burdened with a ban that would deny any U.S. Citizen the non-religious rights that are enjoyed by heterosexual couples: joint property, medical coverage, visitation rights, legal protection, etc. etc. etc. Of course, in their support of Obama and Biden, there will be those who will state that only McCain and Palin are against Gay Marriage. You may wish to cut and paste Biden’s statement that both he and Obama are against Gay Marriage as well; and use that in a rebuttal if need be.
