A Very Important Message

This very important message from Team Schwarzenneger was sent to me today and I am posting it here for all to read.  Obviously, Phil Angelides’ so-called solutions for California includes wholesale tax hikes across the board.  Does anyone remember what California was like under Gray Davis?  Does anyone remember all of the good things our Governor has done to reverse the damage done by the previous administration?  Take a look at the message below and think about it when it is time to cast your vote:

When Phil Angelides talks to voters across the state, he asks them to judge him based on his record.

It is a record of advocating higher taxes on all Californians. From income taxes to taxes on farm equipment to taxes on accounting services, Phil Angelides has spent his political career pushing for higher taxes.

The San Diego Union-Tribune has said that Angelides’ tax increases are “the central theme of his campaign.” And the LA Daily News has said that Angelides’ “platform consists almost entirely of a $10 billion tax increase.”

Voters have a clear choice this November about the future of our state.

Since Governor Schwarzenegger took office:

  • He has cut the state’s structural deficit by 80%.
  • He revoked the illegal hike of the car tax.
  • He reformed workers’ compensation insurance.
  • He has put forth a bold plan to rebuild California’s roads, bridges, levees and schools.
  • He is working to fix our borders and reform our immigration system.
  • AND California has created more than 500,000 new jobs.

We are going to continue moving forward with robust economic growth, new jobs and strong leadership, or we can move backward with higher taxes and reckless spending from another typical Sacramento politician.

The choice is ours.
